Steelcut Services (Pty) Ltd was established in January 1991 in Perseverance, Port Elizabeth, now called Gqeberha. We started out with two flame cutting machines, four administrative staff members and ten factory operators and workers.

In 1993, we moved to the Metalman premises in Burman Road, Deal Party, where we remained for 28 years. With the advent of laser cutting technology, we acquired our first laser cutting machine in 2007. This allowed us to provide our clientele with more accurate tolerances on cutting. Due to the increase in demand for laser cut products, we procured two additional laser cutting machines. As the need for bending increased, we obtained our first bending machine in 2009. 

The second bending machine followed in 2011. A smaller electric bending machine was purchased in 2020. In the same year, we purchased our fourth laser, a state-of-the-art machine, capable of cutting up to 30mm mild Steel and 50mm stainless Steel.

Steelcut Services is committed to maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring that we always deliver exceptional services. We ensure that this standard is upheld by staying informed of fresh, innovative ways to impress our clients. Our dynamic staff have decades of experience within the laser industry, meaning that they can assist you with even the most challenging projects. We moved into our new, larger premises in April 2021, situated at 42 Burman Road in Deal Party. The new building provides a larger sales office, factory, and client parking facility for greater convenience.
